Thanks to Konstantin Z. (web-minimalist.ru) for the russian translation.

Overview over the changes:

  • The "xHtml" Property of the Feindura-class is now by default set to False, this means no HTML-Tag ends in "/>".
  • If you create a new page, you can now use another page as template.
  • If you set an internal link to another feindura page, it uses creates them now as the following: ?feinduraPageID=2, this helps to automatically create SpeakingURLs.
  • Add new plugin slideShow. This plugin uses the NivooSlider from Johannes Fischer (www.johannes-fischer.de/labs/nivoo-slider) to create a slidhow of pictures.
  • The createMetaTags() method of the Feindura-class, doesn't create robot txt and revisit after Meta-Tags anymore, because they are not liste in the W3C specs.
  • Add two new Feindura-class properties: $linkPageDateSeparator und $titlePageDateSeparator.
  • The returned array of the showPage, listPages, listPagesByTags, listPagesByDate, listPagesBySortFunction method has now next to the pageDate (whe the page date of this category is activated) also a pageDateTimestamp value, so you can format the date on your own. See here.
  • The useHtml parameter of the showPage (listPages, ...) methods can now have next to True/False, also a string with allowed HTML-Tags.
  • The shortenText parameter of the showPage (listPages, ...) methods can now have, next to the number of characters, an array. The first element is the number of characters and the second is a link, or link text, which get add after the shortened text, instead of the "more" link.
  • fixed the thumbnail pciture issue in the FileManager.
]]> <![CDATA[feindura 1.1.5 released]]> urn:uuid:9a720f17-1201-0f58-68b9-4da21b073657 2011-10-30T21:44:53-04:00 This is a small bugfix release, which fixes the website statistics reset issue. Sadly the last release didn't fix it, but this one should.

I also forget to mention in the last release, that i changed the css style names of the contactForm plugin. Everything with "chapta_..." is now called "captcha_...".
There is also a now a setting to deactivate the captcha in the plugin setting, when activating the contaftForm plugin for a page.

But it's recommended that you update, because this releases an issue, where it reseted the website statistics nce two people are visiting the website at the same time. this was due to the fact, that reading a file while another one is writing it returns an empty, which will be saved and therefore caused the reset.

Other changes are:

  • Fixed the statistics reset issue, because on some server php file write protection, LOCK_EX doesnt work on shared hosts. so i know build a workaround, to prevent saving empty files.
  • It creates now its own DOCUMENTROOT based on the feindura basePath and the __FILE__ variable, which should allow to also host feindura in a virtual folder which is accessed du to mod_rewrite.
  • Removed the plugin setup, because it was not really necessary, to first activate plugins in general. If you dont want a plugin, you have to remove it from the plugins folder
  • add a new CKEditor version 3.6.2
  • speakingUrls can now be activated, even if the apache_modules() function is not available. But this can also lead to shut down your website, if that happen, you just need to remove the .htaccess file in your websites root.

It's now possible to turn of the htmlLawed filter, when saving pages. This setting can be found in the "admin settings" -> "html editor settings".

It fixes some issues with windows IIS servers. One important change ist that the user array key is now a number instead of the username, which fixes some issues with usernames.

The generated sitemap files are complying with the http://www.sitemaps.org protocol.

Additionally is the CKEditor source code now colored by CodeMirror, which is a quite exciting new feature, because it makes editing the source code much easier!

Besides many new features and fixed security holes, i renewed the basic structure in most parts.

  • The login system, which was previously .htaccess based, is replaced by a completely new login system. Now there are two user types: administrators and authors.
  • You can now edit the pages directly on the website if you activate the frontend editing feature.
    (AdminSetup> User permissions)
  • A new plugin system makes it easy to add new functionality to each page (e.g. image galleries, or contact forms). You can also code your own plugins.
  • The File Manager has been replaced by the better Mootools File Manager.
  • feindura 1.1 has better statistics. Now you can also see your current visitors.
  • You can now create Backups of the configurations, pages and statistics, which can easily be recovered.
  • Each category can now get it's own RSS or Atom feed. These are automatically add in the createMetaTags() method.
  • Pages within categories can be sorted by date or alphabetically.
  • Pages which are currently being edited will now be blocked for other users, if multiple users are logged in. So no content can get lost.
  • feindura 1.1 uses no more htmlentities, now everything is encoded in UTF-8.
  • Feindura is now also available in French. Thanks go to Fabian Russ (fabianruss.de)
  • Multiple security vulnerabilities fixed (Thanks to Eldar "Wireghoul" Marcussen www.justanotherhacker.com). All inputs are now filtered to protect against XSS Attacks.
  • Of course, the new MooTools 1.3.2 and CKEditor 3.6 were added.

The feindura class name has changed, the initial character is now written in uppercase like: "Feindura".

To make sure nobody can use these exploits secure your feindura installation with a password protection, either by protecting your feindura folder with a password over your server administration or by using the "user management" in feindura itself (but you have to make sure, that you can write in the .htacces files and that he can create a .htpasswd in your feindura folder).

i will release the 1.1 soon, which closes these security issues...
